SCBIO seeking new CEO to succeed outgoing Sam Konduros
SCBIO Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sam Konduros, who has led South Carolina’s economic development organization focused on the life sciences industry in the Palmetto State, will be stepping down from his current role early next month.
Konduros, who has led SCBIO for four years, is departing to serve on the board of Charleston-based Vikor Scientific and will be employed as CEO of a new health innovation company, according to a news release.
Erin Ford, current SCBIO Executive Vice President, will be assuming day-to-day responsibilities while a search for Konduros’ permanent successor occurs.
