Two SBIR/STTR workshops set for January 22 in Cookeville

SBIR and STTRLaunch Tennessee and several Upper Cumberland-based organizations are hosting two proposal preparation workshops on the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.  Both will be held January 22 at The Biz Foundry, 140 West 7th Street, Cookeville.

The first session begins with an open house at 10 a.m. CST with the workshop, including lunch, running from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The second session runs from 3 to 4:30 p.m. The same content will be covered in each session.

Instructors will be Jim Stefansic, Commercialization Director at Launch Tennessee, and Bill Wiley, Manager of the University of Tennessee’s SBIR Assistance Center.

The collaborating sponsors are Tennessee Technological University’s Office of Research and Economic Development, The Biz Foundry and Vertex Innovations, LLC.
