Which of America’s largest cities ranks best in the use of innovative technology to streamline local government? The answer is San Diego, according to the Center for Digital Government. Among the reasons cited in this article were the Get It Done app, the rapid opening of three bridge shelters for the homeless, a revamped development services website, using geofencing technology to manage dockless scooters, and providing interactive maps showing the condition of all streets.
