Roane State seeking Adjunct Instructors for ACE Accelerator Program

Roane State 2-teknoDo you have an interest in teaching in Roane State Community College’s Composites Training Program and the qualifications to do so?

If the answer is “yes,” you are just an individual with whom Andrew Pokelwaldt, Director of RSCC’s Advanced Composites Employment Accelerator Program, wants to talk. He is seeking to hire Adjunct Instructors on a semester-by-semester basis.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Materials Science, coupled with industry experience in production methods and composite materials manufacturing.

Composites instructors must be able to instruct in areas of composites materials, chemical/physical composite properties, chemical reactions, theory, production methods, safety, and documentation for process consistency.   Problem solving and critical thinking skills will be an important aspect of each course.  Courses will involve both classroom and laboratory learning.
