Reports say Alabama wins another BIG competition
Looks like Alabama has won a second BIG competition in a matter of days.
According to published reports, the latest new automotive manufacturing plant in the U.S. will be located in Limestone County at the site that was a finalist for the Volkswagen plant that went to Chattanooga. The latest plant, valued at $1.6 billion, is a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation and Mazda Motor Corporation.
The project reportedly also will involve the development of new vehicles and accompanying technologies.
