RareBreed Ventures to focus on “talented, out-of-the-box thinkers”
An investor with the Maryland Technology Develop Corporation (TEDCO) is launching his own Baltimore-based venture firm, focused on expanding access to early stage funding for start-ups.
Named RareBreed Ventures, McKeever “Mac” Conwell hopes to raise an initial fund of about $10 million that will make investments in companies led by “talented, out-of-the-box thinkers” based outside of the typical hubs for growing tech start-ups.
