Still time to register for the “RAMP Trade Conference and Expo”
It’s doesn’t start until 5 p.m. today, so you still have time to register for the inaugural “RAMP Trade Conference and Expo” at the Holiday Inn World’s Fair in Knoxville. More than 300 people had registered late last week for the event.
RAMP stands for the Regional Advanced Manufacturing Partnership which is coordinated by Tech 2020.
Tonight’s kick-off reception includes a keynote speech featuring Jeffrey Liker, author of The Toyota Way. We previously profiled him on teknovation.biz. The event continues all day Tuesday with as many as 50 exhibitors and programming in four tracks – manufacturing technology, energy efficiency and sustainability, economic and workforce development, and support services.
