Qualcomm creates new $100 million AI-focused fund
Qualcomm has launched a new $100 million fund to invest in artificial intelligence (AI) start-ups looking to run their algorithms on devices in the field — rather than in the Internet cloud. The new fund is part of Qualcomm Ventures, the San Diego company’s corporate venture capital arm with nearly $1 billion under management.
