Earlier this month, PYA was named a “2022 Top 100 Accounting Firm” in the nation by INSIDE Public Accounting. This is the seventh year in a row the firm, which powers, has earned this recognition. In the last three years, PYA has moved up seven spots in the ranking. It is one of only two accounting firms headquartered in East Tennessee, and the only one in Knoxville to make the list.

INSIDE Public Accounting is considered the survey leader for the profession, with more of the largest 600 firms participating than any other industry survey. The ranking is set by U.S. net revenues of the businesses.

“At PYA, we invest in our clients. The relationships we develop and nurture are our priority,” said PYA President and Chief Executive Officer Marty Brown. “To be recognized as a Top 100 Firm for the last seven years is truly an honor and a testament to our commitment to serve clients with a focus on helpfulness.”

The firm was also recently named a “Top Workplace” by the Knoxville News Sentinel.

Realty Trust Group (RTG), an affiliate company of PYA, was named a “2022 Top 10 Development Company” by Modern Healthcare. This is the fourth year the firm has ranked in the Construction and Design survey by the publication. Businesses are ranked by total dollar volume and square footage of healthcare construction projects. According to a news release from RTG, the firm completed $78.3 million in healthcare projects that represented more than 100,000 square feet in 2021, more than double what the firm completed in 2020.

Modern Healthcare also recently named RTG in its “Best Places to Work” survey for the second year.

“We are honored to be ranked by Modern Healthcare among such a prestigious list of companies that bring innovative approaches and facilities to the healthcare industry,” said Dan Maxwell, Vice President of Development Services at RTG. “Our team takes a bigger perspective into account as we partner with our clients on new projects. In the healthcare industry, real estate development is about so much more than just keeping to the construction timeline. We understand that providing the right solution ultimately saves our clients costs, manages risks, and enhances delivery of care for patients.”
