ProductCamp Nashville seeking proposals for September 16 event

Product Camp NashvilleInterested in sharing your experiences in product development, marketing, and management and learning from others? If so, an event in Nashville on September 16 in Nashville.

The all-day program, named ProductCamp Nashville, is organized as an “unconference,” according to Dave Seeman, a University of Tennessee graduate and one of the founders of Fractal Hardware Design. We spotlighted the latter in this teknovation.biz article last November.

What is an “unconference”? Seeman tells us it is a format that allows anyone to participate as a presenter. It’s an opportunity for those who have found success and failure to share their experiences and learnings with others to help grow and strengthen the Nashville product community.

“It’s focused on creating and running digital products including development, marketing, management, ownership, and more,” Seeman added. “I’m trying to add some hardware content as well, so there should be something for everyone.”

The organizers are currently soliciting proposals from individuals interested in hosting sessions. To learn more, click here.

The event will be held at the offices of Red Pepper, 305 Jefferson Street. There is no registration fee, but pre-registration is requested at this link.

ProductCamp Nashville is backed by TechFed Nashville, a non-profit organization formed to support and grow the grassroots tech talent in Middle Tennessee. TechFed provides financial stewardship, risk management and volunteer leadership development for Nashville-area technology events.
