Former President of Google China speaking next Monday in Oak Ridge
A 1979 graduate of Oak Ridge High School graduate who is considered a world leading artificial intelligence expert is coming home to speak at an event next Monday (May 6) at Pollard Auditorium.
Kai-Fu Lee, former President of Google China as well as being a venture capitalist and writer, will be the guest of honor at a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by his talk at 6:30. Lee’s appearance is hosted by the Oak Ridge Public Schools Education Foundation, UT-Battelle, Oak Ridge Associated Universities, and Friends of ORNL.
He will sign his most recent best-selling book, AI Super-Powers: China, Silicon Valley and the New World Order. Copies of the book will be available for purchase courtesy of The Ferrell Shop.
Lee is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sinovation Ventures, a Chinese technology investment firm focusing on support and development of new technological innovations.
