PrepSolo wins this year’s ‘What’s the Big Idea?’ pitch competition
The annual competition is designed for entrepreneurs with concepts or new enterprises in the seed-capital, startup, or pre-revenue stages.
PrepSolo, founded by Megan Quigley, outperformed six other competitors to capture first place and $10,000 during Sunday night’s finale of the annual ‘What’s the Big Idea?’ pitch competition.
Hosted by the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, the event took place at The Relix in North Knoxville’s Happy Holler.

Accessible design for all
This year’s winner, PrepSolo, is a modular kitchen system designed for wheelchair users and aging adults who wish to cook independently without the need for expensive, permanent renovations. The startup aims to make accessible kitchens attainable.
