PitchBook examines 2023 predictions, midyear accuracy
"The first half of the year came with some surprises," the data-driven site notes.
Around July 4 is a good time to look back at predictions made six months earlier, and that is what PitchBook has done.
In its recently posted “2023 US Venture Capital Outlook: H1 Follow-Up,” the data-driven site noted that “the first half of the year came with some surprises. The S&P and NASDAQ are in the green, median pre-money valuations for seeds are going steady at $11 million, and micro investors are buoying the pre-seed market. But a flurry of start-ups is headed for liquidity limbo.”
The predictions made in December 2022 and an update on those can be downloaded at this link.
