Penn State students branding community with 814 clothing line

What do 814 and 865 have in common? Both are area codes – the former for State College, PA, home of Penn State University; the other obviously here.

In the case of Penn State, two students have launched a clothing line named 814. “We’re not just ‘814’ on a shirt,” Co-Founder Brandon McGowan says. “It’s more than a shirt. It’s not just the school. You look at the shirt and you think of the town, the vibes from it, the culture and the people that live here.”

Well, we’re part of the way there with the “Innov865 Alliance.” Could some enterprising students at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville pick-up on the idea?
