PE Hub reports that Lenoir City-based Ministry Brands might be for sale

PE Hub reported yesterday that Insight Partners, which acquired Ministry Brands in 2016 for $1.4 billion, is exploring a sale of the provider of cloud-based technology for faith-based organizations

Based in Lenoir City, the company, which encompasses 31 brands, provides technology for church administration, worship planning, accounting and financials. Its offerings include online giving, payment solutions, background screening, websites, live streaming and communications.

Ross Croley founded Ministry Brands and ran the company from 1997 to 2017. He also held the positions of Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of several other companies he founded including Community Brands, Therapy Brands, Property Brands, and Government Brands.
