ParOne Inc. rolling-out automated tool for golf-focused sites

We first wrote about JR Charles, an always smiling and animated Knoxvillian, nearly seven years ago when he was participating in the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center‘s “MediaWorks Accelerator” (see teknovation.biz article here). 

As described in that post, the Memphis native and University of Tennessee, Knoxville graduate had a fascination for all things digital and a willingness to take risks. Those two characteristics led him to launch ParOneTV that was focused on golfing.

We have not seen Charles in several years, but took note of this recent press release with a New York City dateline. Now known as ParOne Inc., the company announced the launch of “the first-ever automated technology that syndicates video to the most popular golf apps and websites engaging golfers worldwide through a single channel.”

The announcement says that the company, which is “redefining how brands reach golf consumers,” is headquartered in New York City with offices in Knoxville.
