ORNL announces another senior executive
Cynthia Jenks has been selected as Associate Laboratory Director for the Physical Sciences Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Currently the Director of the the Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division at Argonne National Laboratory, she will assume her new role at ORNL April 19.
At Argonne, another U.S. Department of Energy lab, Jenks oversees the contributions of 17 research groups. Prior to her time there, she served in a variety of roles at Ames Laboratory, including assistant director for scientific planning.
