North Florida corporation does its part to support entrepreneurship

Here’s a good example of corporate engagement.

Jacksonville, FL-based Swisher had pledged to grow opportunities for Black-owned businesses, and it is now doing so by sponsoring a University of North Florida (UNF) program to prepare minority entrepreneurs to follow their dreams.

UNF’s “Swisher Startup for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs” is an eight-week online program about the nuts and bolts of turning an idea into a business. The program will feature three-hour training sessions each Wednesday between February 10 and March 31.
