Non-traditional sources of start-up funding grew 167 percent in Q1

Dollar Signs 3CB Insights reports that non-traditional sources such as hedge and mutual funds accounted for one-third of the money invested in start-ups during the first quarter of 2015, a whopping 167 percent increase from a year ago. By comparison, traditional venture capital accounted for the other two-thirds, but showed only an 11 percent increase. Click here to learn more.
