NODE, part of “hackathon,” raises $1.25 million in Series A
Alex Lavidge alerted us this week to two significant events in the short life of Chattanooga-based Variable Inc., developer of the NODE modular wireless sensor platform.

- Second, Variable joined with Evernote, Leap Motion and Honda Silicon Valley Lab to host a “hackathon” in Redwood City, CA last Sunday where mobile apps were developed, including some using the NODE. As reported earlier this week, Variable will also be part of the “Start-up Village” at next week’s “Southland” conference in Nashville.
