The BizFoundry’s nine-week “Business-in-a-Box” series begins March 22 in Cookeville.
During the weekly Thursday evening sessions, participants will refine and develop their business ideas; get expert advice from local legal, accounting, marketing & insurance experts; and learn to tell their story and attract talent, vendors, customers, and maybe even some investors.
The sessions are facilitated by Jeff Brown, The Biz Foundry’s President, and Program Manager Mike Ames. All of the classes will be heavily based on hands-on exercises, group discussions, and start-up checklist activities. Participants will also be expected to complete weekly homework assignments designed to validate their assumptions, and refine their business ideas.
Classes will run each Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. from March 22 to May 17 at The Biz Foundry’s co-working space, 114 North Cedar Avenue. Registration fee is $150 per person. For more information or to register, contact Ames at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at 912/713- 3230.
