Next “Pitch for Good” focused on data, analytics and AI start-ups

The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) is looking for entrepreneurs who believe they have the next big idea in data technology. The six that are selected will present their ideas during the organization’s next “Pitch for Good” program set for September 22 as part of the Nashville Technology Council’s “2020 Analytics Summit” (see our recent article on the event here.)

Like the previous “Pitch for Good” competitions, there are two categories with three finalists selected for each. The categories are: (1) “Launch,” defined as companies with revenue of less than $25,000; and (2) “Up and Running” which is for start-ups with revenues pf $25,000 or more.

The competition is limited to Founders of data, analytics or artificial intelligence start-ups, and the application deadline ((here’s a link to the application) is 2 p.m. CDT September 14. In addition to checking the box in terms of the type of company launched, those applying must be: (1) based in Tennessee or be a member of an EC program; (2) creating positive good in the world via their business pursuits; and (3) submit a one-minute video, list the stage of the start-up, and how the prize money would be used if selected as a winner.
