Next ETEC “After Hours!” focused on how data analytics, AI are transforming healthcare

The next “After Hours!” sponsored by the East Tennessee Economic Council, better known as ETEC, will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. November 19 at Ts117 Coworking, 701 Scarboro Road in Oak Ridge.

The periodically-scheduled event is designed to help both established and early career professionals make connections for professional development around an informative program. For November 19, the program, sponsored by Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, will be focused on how data analytics and artificial intelligence are transforming healthcare.

Suresh Babu, Co-Chair of ETEC’s Big Data Analytics Working Group, will moderate a panel featuring Bruce Ramshaw, Managing Partner of CQ Insights and Adjunct Professor at the University of Tennessee (UT), Knoxville, and Brian Worley, President and Chief Executive Officer at PYA Analytics and Vice President of Provider Analytics at Verana Health. Babu is also Director of UT’s Bredesen Center, and the UT/Oak Ridge National Laboratory Governor’s Chair of Advanced Manufacturing.

The event is also designed to help introduce Ts117’s new “Meet + Train Room.” To do so in a fun way, there will be an exploration game with prizes. There will also be networking, drinks, snacks and a conversation with accomplished professionals.

There is no registration fee, but those planning to attend are encouraged to register here.
