Next “Beers & Careers” from Knoxville Chapter of BioTN’s Academic Alliance is April 1
The next edition of “Beers & Careers” from the Knoxville Chapter of BioTN’s Academic Alliance is set for 7 p.m. April 1. It will feature a presentation titled “How to Write an SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) Proposal” by Steve Ripp, Chief Operating Officer of 490 BioTech.
The company won the inaugural PYA-sponsored “Ballard Innovation Award” (see recent teknovation.biz article here) and last year’s “Startup Day” pitch competition hosted by the Innov865 Alliance where the judges cited 490 BioTech’s utilization of SBIR’s to advance the technology without diluting ownership.
