Dollywood Food & Flower Festival begins
Celebrating its fourth season in 2023, the much-celebrated Food & Flower Festival transforms Dollywood into a breathtaking display of Mother Nature’s finest handiwork. Elaborate floral installations emerge around every corner, translating nature into living art, each coming together to create an unbelievable presentation of color and wonder.
While admiring the vivid colors blooming throughout the park, guests also can explore a menu crafted with inspiration from fresh spring flavors and Smoky Mountain flair. Returning for this year is the tasting pass, which allows guests to partake in multiple food items at different festival locations.

Knoxville comedian, underwear brand giving cash to female entrepreneurs
Vanity Fair® Lingerie has partnered with Knoxville comedian Leanne Morgan to provide support for women in a brand-new way this year.
Inspired by Morgan’s message for women to get started on whatever makes them happy, Vanity Fair® Lingerie created the “Vanity Fair® Lingerie Support Award,” designed to give five women a jumpstart on pursuing their passions by providing each with a $5,000 cash award.

Women in Tech Networking Happy Hour next week
Make new connections with the women in Knoxville’s tech community! The Knoxville Technology Council’s Women in Tech will be gathering for a laidback happy hour at Bluetick Tavern in Maryville from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25.

Dates announced for FILM FEST KNOX
Visit Knoxville announces FILM FEST KNOX will be held November 10–12, 2023, at the Regal Riviera in downtown Knoxville in partnership with Regal.
A major component of the festival is the Feature Competition. Out of the many films screened during the festival, six of the feature films will be curated to compete against each other for the title of best feature. The winner of the Feature Competition will receive an Oscar-qualifying theatrical release at a Regal theatre to be determined.
FILM FEST KNOX will also be launching the “Elev8or Pitch” as part of the festival’s events. A jury of film industry professionals will evaluate team submissions of a one-minute elevator pitch for a feature film followed by a seven-minute standalone short. This short will represent a proof-of-concept for the full-length production. The top 20 teams will have their films screened in a block during the festival. Awards for various categories will be presented on the final night of the festival.
