News & Notes | Addiguru is one of five finalists in the Actionable In-Situ Awareness Challenge
The Nashville Innovation Alliance has launched a new Innovation Ecosystem Directory as a new opportunity to learn about the new organization's work.
From New Orleans, LA, but with Oak Ridge Ties:
Addiguru, a member of the 2021 cohort of the “Innovation Crossroads” program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, is one of five finalists chosen to participate in the Actionable In-Situ Awareness Challenge. The inaugural technology challenge aims to identify promising sensors and monitoring capabilities to provide unique quality tracking in advanced aerospace and defence part manufacturing.
According to an article in Metal AM, each company will install and test its monitoring systems on ASTRO America’s industrial-scale metal advanced manufacturing machines at Maritech Machine in Panama City, FL. Their task is to collect meaningful in-process data and demonstrate how their solution delivers quantifiable value to end users across the defense and aerospace sectors.
Final results will be presented during a public showcase event taking place August 26-27, 2025, in Panama City.
