New leader of Research Triangle CleanTech Cluster shares thoughts, plans
When the Research Triangle CleanTech Cluster (RTCC) hired Deb Wojcik as its new Executive Director, the organization turned to a long-time environmentalist who had been serving as Managing Director of Graduate Programs and Services for two Duke University programs – the Pratt School of Engineering and the Nicolas School of the Environment.
RTCC tasked Wojcik with, among other priorities, implementing a new strategic plan to form a “more inclusive cleantech network.” It’s a topic that is gaining more and more attention everywhere including the local region where the University of Tennessee’s Spark Innovation Center will launch a cleantech accelerator in 2022 (see June 2021 announcement).
With that background, we thought this recent interview with Wojcik that was published in WRAL TechWire would be of interest.
