New group of women VCs holding first virtual gathering today
Hypepotamus spotlights a new group that goes by the acronym WISE and is hosting its first virtual meeting today.
Born out of Build in SE’s (Southeast) collaborative effort with Embarc Collective and Miami Angels to create the first comprehensive directory of Southeast-based investors, the new effort is being led by Kelly Reeser, Managing Director at TechFarms Capital, and Monique Villa, Nashville-based investor at Mucker Capital and Co-Founder of Build in SE.
WISE is short for Women Investors in the Southeast, described as an invitation-only “deal flow network (that) is designed to help connect women at all stages of their VC careers.”
