NC State selects developer for latest expansion of its Centennial Campus
North Carolina State University’s (NCSU) Centennial Campus is viewed as one of the nation’s premier research parks for university-industry collaboration, and it’s about to get bigger.
The institution has selected Charlotte-based commercial real estate firm Lincoln Harris to develop the first phase of the expansion on about 30 acres of land as a mixed-use “learn/live/work/play” environment.
Dubbed the “Oval Innovation Park,” NCSU wrote in a statement that the new development is meant to “expand and supplement the existing innovation ecosystem in support of the university’s education, research and statewide outreach mission. This project will also provide ample new amenities to serve the university community and as well as partners on Centennial Campus.”
