NC hospital using drones to transport blood samples across campus

Here’s a novel use for drone technology. In what is described as the first time the Federal Aviation Administration has allowed regular commercial flights of drones carrying products, WakeMed, a Raleigh-based hospital, is flying blood samples across its campus in a move to expand their roles in business and health care.
