NC Electric Cooperatives expanding the state’s EV charging network
If you have an electric vehicle as more and more people do, you want to be sure there is an adequate charging network if you plan to travel a significant distance.
Thanks to funding through the Volkswagen Settlement Mitigation Plan, North Carolina is adding 10 DC Fast charging stations to its existing network that includes 57 sites, both DC Fast and Level 2. The funding, described here, was awarded to the state’s electric cooperatives that are heavily involved in a variety of envioronmentally friendly activities in the state.
