NC BioTech Center makes 18 awards to help with research and commercialization during Q1
The North Carolina Biotechnology Center has awarded 18 grants and loans totaling nearly $1.4 million to bioscience companies, universities and non-profit organizations in the first quarter of its 2019-20 fiscal year. The awards, made from July 1 to September 30, will support life science research and technology commercialization throughout North Carolina and help companies attract follow-on funding from other sources.
