NC-based company licenses ORNL-developed direct-current detector technology
A North Carolina company has exclusively licensed a direct-current detector technology developed by scientists at Oak Ridge National Laboratory that will help emergency responders safely detect high voltages. Inventors Bruce Warmack and Nance Ericson, who specialize in experimental physics and sensing technologies, worked with Raleigh-based Hotstick USA to develop a DC-detection prototype.
