These are the top job opportunities in 2023
Spoiler alert, a lot of them are in the tech and mental health worlds.
Jobs site Indeed is out with a listing of the 25 positions that it characterizes as the best jobs in 2023.
As described in this news release, the rankings were developed based on a variety of requirements of individual jobseekers. They start with salary and flexibility, coupled with opportunity growth (percentage change year-over-year) and availability (share of job postings).
Five of the top 10 are in the information technology sector with another two are related to mental health professions, probably a sign of the stressful lives that Americans lead. The rankings are as follows:
- #1 – Full stack developer;
- #2 – Data engineer;
- #3 – Cloud engineer;
- #4 – Psychiatric nurse;
- #5 – Senior product manager;
- #6 – Back end developer;
- #7 – Site reliability engineer;
- #8 – Machine learning engineer;
- #9 – Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner; and
- #10 – Product designer.
