Nashville top Tennessee city for tech salaries, grows by nearly 10 percent in a year

Business.org recently ranked the top 100 cities in the U.S. in terms of salaries for technology workers. How did Tennessee’s four metro areas rank?

It should come as no surprise that Nashville was tops in the state at $83,269. Memphis came in second at $78,358 with Knoxville ($76,521) and Chattanooga ($74,418) ranked third and fourth respectively.

Nashville’s average salary reflected a nearly 10 percent increase compared to the previous year. Click here for the full list and methodology.
