Nashville start-up selected for Birmingham’s “Velocity Accelerator”

A Nashville company is one of seven selected for the fourth edition of Innovation Depot’s “Velocity Accelerator.” The Birmingham-based program chose Stroll from more than 130 applicants as one of seven participants in the 2020 cohort.

Founded by John Mark Eberhardt and Charleson Bell, Stroll is a patented, end-to-end location-based marketing platform specifically designed for tourism. The company’s app connects cities to citizens and encourages economic development for local businesses.

Venture Nashville reported in October 2019 that the founders planned a $1.5 million seed capital raise.

Stroll is at least the second Middle Tennessee company selected to participate in the accelerator, joining Mixtroz which was selected in 2018.
