Nashville Entrepreneur Center names serial Entrepreneur as its new CEO

Jane H. Allen, an Entrepreneur and Founder of two companies – Counsel on Call and Hanner Clarke – has been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC).

The appointment of the Center’s fourth leader, announced yesterday, follows a search led by Board Chair Beth Chase who, in her day role, is Senior Managing Director of Ankura Consulting Group. Allen succeeds Michael Brody-Waite who announced his departure several months ago.

Yesterday’s announcement cited Allen’s past entrepreneurial success in taking a business from the idea phase to a fully scaled, successful business.

“Jane not only brings a great deal of wisdom and experience taking an idea from concept to launch to sustainable business, but she also understands firsthand, the power of collaboration and connectivity of the entrepreneur community to the broader corporate community,” Chase said in the news release. “That expertise is crucial as we look to grow the EC’s ability to accelerate entrepreneurial success and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city.”
