Nashville EC unveils 10 companies in the newest “Project Music & Entertainment” cohort
It’s been a busy few days for the Nashville Entrepreneur Center (NEC), starting with last Friday’s inaugural event in the #BuildTN Conversations series co-sponsored with Launch Tennessee, continuing with the “NEXT Awards” event on Monday, and finishing on Wednesday night with a novel way to spotlight the new cohort in the NEC’s “Project Music & Entertainment” accelerator.
The participants in the yearlong program were introduced in a virtual event over YouTube where 10 of the entrepreneurs introduced their companies in pre-recorded, 90-second pitches. Two of the 10 came from Tennessee:
Chris Cummings (pictured at right) from Chattanooga who introduced Iconic Moments, a digital exhibit design platform that helps cultural institutions create engaging visitor experiences; and
- Elijah Herrick of Nashville who presented StatStak, a start-up that has radically redesigned athletic data dissemination through the creation of an athlete-centric data storage solution.
About 50 people tuned-in for the pitches. If you missed them or want to revisit one or more, click here.
