Mixtroz wins $100,000 in “Rise of the Rest” Birmingham competition
Another stop and another Tennessee winner on the “Rest of the Rest Road Tour.” This time the stop was Birmingham on Wednesday, where Mixtroz, a Nashville area start-up spotlighted on numerous posts on teknovation.biz, won the $100,000 investment.
We caught-up yesterday morning with Co-Founder Ashlee Ammons who told us the following: “I ended my pitch with ‘the third wave is here and Mixtroz is riding it,’ and the first thing Steve Case said was, ‘You gave an awesome presentation.’ How incredibly validating, the builder of the first wave and author of the third wave sees our vision not only with words but with capital.”
