Memphis project one of 43 that were part of “Startup in Residence” program
A project with the Memphis Area Transportation Authority (MATA) is one of 43 unveiled recently by the “Startup in Residence” (STiR) program that helps governments explore the potential for emerging technologies to improve government processes while minimizing risk.
In the case of the collaboration between MATA and a company named UrbanSDK, the focus was on building a data integration and management platform for city transit planners to manage and share transit data.
STiR is a 16-week remote program connects start-ups with government agencies to co-develop technology solutions for government challenges. You can read more about the program here and the projects here.
