Lunchpool wins “Emerging Tech” award during recent “Synapse Summit”
In announcing Lunchpool as winner in the “Emerging Tech” category of the inaugural “Synapse Innovation Awards,” the presenter described the start-up as “born in Tampa Bay and grown in Knoxville.”
Co-Founder Alex Abell told us in a follow-up email that he would have been happier if they had said Lunchpool was “made in Knoxville. I think it’d almost be perfectly on cue with KEC’s new ‘Made for Knox’ initiative.”
