
Local Motors purchases first two BAAM 3D printers
Local Motors, which is completing one of its new microfactories in West Knoxville, has announced the purchase of two BAAM 3D printing machines for its inaugural microfactory in Arizona. The acronym stands for “Big Area Additive Manufacturing,” a technology jointly developed by Cincinnati Incorporated and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
