Lirio names seven-member advisory board

Lirio says that its plan is to grow its unique Precision Nudging® platform to customers in the United States and expand its international presence over the next five years.

Lirio, a pioneer in the union of behavioral science and artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver better health outcomes, has announced the appointment of its first-ever advisory board, bringing together a mix of experts across health systems, life sciences, retail health, health plans, and digital health to help strengthen the company’s position as a pioneer in AI-powered patient engagement.

The new board, made up of seven industry experts with leadership experience at top healthcare organizations, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and Novo Nordisk, will help guide the development of go-to-market strategies and product development, as well as strengthen Lirio’s presence in both new and existing markets.

The inaugural board members include:

  1. David Shulkin, M.D., former Secretary of Veterans Affairs;
  2. Barbara Salami, representing the life sciences and on a number of advisory boards;
  3. Keith Shah, PhD, MBA, Chief Operating Officer for Health Plans, Medicare, & Federal Employee Program at CVS Health;
  4. Nick Patel, M.D., Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stealth Consulting LLC and Advisory Board Chair;
  5. Paul Long, MBA, Principal Consultant & Executive Advisor – Customer Experience & Operations Strategy with Verte Opus and a former executive with several Blue Cross Blue Shield programs;
  6. Saket Malhotra, Global Head of Commercial Digital with BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc.; and
  7. Scott Walker, CPA, Chief Financial Officer at Point32 Health.

Lirio, which is headquartered in Knoxville, won the Traction Award during the most recent 865 Fest. It was an all-day event to celebrate all-things related to entrepreneurship in Knoxville and was the successor to the more than a decade event known as Startup Day.

As part of the announcement of the new advisory board, Lirio says that its plan is to grow its unique Precision Nudging® platform to customers in the United States and expand its international presence over the next five years. The company’s new board members are well-equipped to support this growth, bringing experience in leading global business initiatives and engaging with international stakeholders.
