Lightship Capital invests in five minority businesses just months after its launch

Cincinnati-based Lightship Capital, which announced a goal of raising $50 million in June, has closed $26 million to date. More significant, however, is the pace at which it is deploying capital.

According to this article in Cincy Inno, the fund has already made five investments in minority-led businesses from New York to Colorado with plans to make initial in a total of 35 companies, with dollars reserved for additional follow-on.
