Leyline Renewable Energy launches new $12.5 million fund
Durham-based Leyline Renewable Energy LLC announced last week the launch of its first fund. Named Windstar Fund I L.P., it has $12.5 million to invest in renewable energy projects. According to this article, the funds will be used to provide loans to renewable energy project developers for engineering, permitting, interconnection and legal costs and payments to utilities to secure long-term agreements.
