LaunchTN, Pinnacle Financial Partners announce new series for entrepreneurs
"Capital Conversations," which begins later this month, will include all members of LaunchTN's capital team plus representatives from Pinnacle.
Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) and Pinnacle Financial Partners are partnering on a new series of meetups, called “Capital Conversations,” which will be hosted in four different cities statewide over the next several months starting in Memphis on August 22.
The two-hour events are opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors, and others in the state’s entrepreneurial community to network and connect. Each “Capital Conversation” will feature LaunchTN’s entire capital team, including Chief Investment Officer Monique Villa, as well as financial sector experts from Pinnacle Financial Partners. The Launch team will be on hand to discuss “InvestTN,” a new $70 million fund for investments in start-ups and venture funds throughout the state, and representatives from Pinnacle will offer expert advice on financial services and support specific to start-ups.
The first event in the series will be held in partnership with Epicenter, the West Tennessee entrepreneur center, at Railgarten in Memphis starting at 5 p.m. CDT. Tickets are available online through Eventbrite. Other sessions are scheduled as follows:
- October 19 in conjunction with the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center;
- November 9 in Chattanooga in partnership with The Company Lab (CO.LAB); and
- TBD with the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
The series is an outgrowth of Pinnacle becoming a Visionary-level supporter of LaunchTN during 2023.
