LaunchTN announces 20 competitions for 2017 “Statewide University Venture Challenge”
Launch Tennessee has announced that 20 competitions being hosted by 13 Tennessee-based universities will make-up its second annual “Statewide University Venture Challenge” (UVC). The 2017 program follows the inaugural UVC and provides up to $4,000 in sponsorship funds per competition to the participating schools.
During the first year, two University of Tennessee, Knoxville-connected start-ups – Grow Bioplastics and SilkOps – took two of the four top prizes.
