Launch Tennessee’s Board of Directors removes interim from Van Tucker’s title

The Launch Tennessee Board of Directors has voted to remove the “Interim” from the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) title of Van Tucker who had been serving for slightly more than five months as the organization’s top executive following the departure of Margaret Dolan. The vote came Friday during a called meeting.

Before joining Launch Tennessee as Chief Operating Officer at the first of this year, Tucker served as founding CEO of the Nashville Fashion Alliance, a trade organization that raised international awareness of the industry’s $6 billion economic impact. Prior to that, she co-founded Avenue Bank as Chief Creative Officer, responsible for award-winning brand development.

Here’s the news release announcing the decision.
