Latest edition of Real Good Kitchen’s newsletter celebrates its opening and a partnership with Nourish Knoxville

The April edition of the newsletter from Knoxville’s Real Good Kitchen is out, celebrating the opening of the shared facility.

“After four years of dreaming, researching, planning, fundraising, building, inspections and more, we officially opened our doors on January 8, 2021,” writes Founder Bailey Foster. “Three months in, we already have 14 local food businesses operating in our shared commercial kitchen space.”

She also talks about a partnership with Nourish Knoxville. “We had the really special opportunity on March 27 to host our first event at Real Good Kitchen. We were able to support the work of an amazing organization dedicated to local food and to be in company with some incredible local chefs. After so many years being little more than an idea in Bailey’s head, RGK is finally a space in the world, taking on a life of its own. We love the potential and the power of this space and this community we’re building together. Nourish Knoxville talks a lot about building a bigger table. We are 100 pecent committed to building a bigger table – and even more, a bigger kitchen, where new stories get told and everyone who wants it has the opportunity to start and grow a food business. Thanks to Nourish Knoxville for inviting us to be part of this event, and to all who came out to show their support!”
