Knoxville jumps 33 places in Milken Institute list of best performing cities

The Milken Institute has just released its report of the best performing cities in 2012, and Knoxville is the only one from Tennessee in the Top 25, jumping 33 spaces in a year. The evaluations are based on job and wage growth and the propensity for technological innovation, not factors such as quality of life and weather.

The complete report is available at http://www.milkeninstitute.org/pdf/Best-Performing-Cities-Report-2012.pdf. You can find the Knoxville analysis on page 23.
